Sales & CRM Guide — Deals, Quotes, and Invoices

ICTContact includes a built-in sales CRM that lets you track deals through your pipeline, create quotes, raise invoices, and visualize your sales calendar — all without leaving the platform.

Deals

Navigate to Sales > Deals to manage your sales pipeline.

Adding a New Deal

  1. Click Add new
  2. Fill in contact name and phone
  3. Assign a Product (set up products first under Customer > Product)
  4. Enter Amount and End Date (expected close date)
  5. Set Status — Unassigned, In Progress, Won, Lost
  6. Assign to a Deal Group and agent
  7. Save

Deal Columns Explained

Column Meaning
Product Product or service being sold
Amount Deal value in USD
End Date Expected closing date
Status Current pipeline stage

Deal Groups

Go to Sales > Deal Groups to create pipeline stages or territory groupings. Examples: “Enterprise Q2”, “SMB Outbound”, “Renewals”. Assign deals to groups for better organization and reporting.

Deal Calendar

Navigate to Sales > Deal Calendar for a visual calendar view of all active deals by their close dates.

Each deal appears as a color-coded block on its end date. Click any deal to open and edit it. Use the arrows to navigate between weeks and months. Click Add Deal to create a new deal directly from the calendar.

Quotes

Navigate to Sales > Quotes to create and send formal price quotes to prospects.

  1. Click Add new
  2. Select the contact and linked deal
  3. Add line items with product, quantity, and price
  4. Set expiry date
  5. Save and send to the contact via email

Accepted quotes can be converted directly into invoices.

Invoices

Navigate to Sales > Invoices to manage billing for closed deals.

  1. Click Add new or convert a quote
  2. Select contact and deal
  3. Add line items
  4. Set due date and payment terms
  5. Save and send

Invoices track payment status — Unpaid, Partially Paid, Paid. Use the Export button to download invoice records for your accounting system.
